Read more…A study was made of the protective activity of rutin and walnut extract and Sophora extract upon acute gamma irradiation of Allium cepa L. onion seeds. Preliminary treatment of seeds with these preparations led to a significant decrease in MDA and chromosomal aberrations in the apical meristem of onion seedlings obtained from irradiated seeds. |
