How to reach the purpose of saving energy? Which is one of key problems for now and future. In this
paper, we issued a instrument to surveillance the information of household of electric power that was done by the
embedded system platform as control center to monitor the electric power of household. The functions of the issued
instrument are analyzing, calculating, and computing information of electrical-appliances, and communicate the
information from the monitor instrument to control center. For the infrastructure to transmit and display the power
information of household, we respectively used Zigbee and Visual Basic.NET to create the graphic user interface with
HMI format. For the experiment, we measure the household-power information by the monitor instrument and compare
to the HIOKI 3286-20 power meter to find the error rate remain low error ration.

During the study a total of 61 nests of the family Vespidae were collected. The nests of the social wasps (Polistinae and Vespinae) were found to be paper made having hexagonal cells while that of solitary wasps (Eumeninae) were constructed from mud and having elongated cells with a cell size of about 7.9 mm (Antepipona deflenda) to 29.2 mm (Delta dimidiatepenne). The nests of the vespine wasps were spindle shaped, found either aerial or underground with a cell size of 10 mm (Vespula flaviceps) to 28.2 mm (Vespa velutina). These were very large, containing 3 to 10 combs protected by envelope. The Polistinae nests were also made of paper, generally aerial, were small, nearly rounded in shape and composed of single comb. The cell size of Polistinae varies from 8 mm (Ropalidia cyathiformis) to 19.7 mm (Polistes olivaceous).

In this study, the effects of electrode type on weld seam properties were investigated. In the experiments, S235JR low carbon structural steel was used as the \"base material\", (75%-80% Ar + CO2) was used as the \"protective gas\", and rutile, basic, and metal cored wires with various characteristics were used as the \"add material”. In order to determine the effects of using different “add material” on weld seam mechanical properties, tensile and hardness tests were performed, and then the microscopic investigations were performed. As a result of the experimental studies, it was found that the holes in the core of the wire caused pores in the weld seam, and the hardest weld seam occurred with “basic”. Moreover, it was also observed that weld seam produced with rutile flux cored wire was the most ductile and had the closest ductility to the base material.

Autoimmune thyroid diseases are more frequent in female as compared to male. The incidence of Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis condition is much higher than Grave’s disease in female. Various studies on the reproductive physiology of female show that both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism are involved in infertility, menstrual irregularities, delay in the onset of puberty, anovulation and frequent miscarriages. The present study was conducted in 41 autoimmune thyroid female patients (28 HT and 13 GD) with age (Mean: 32.93; SE: 1.2) and 28 control with age (Mean: 29.93; SE: 1.52). The result indicates that there is significant increase in the basal level of serum prolactin in hypothyroid female as compared to the control (p< 0.05). There was also nearly significant increase in the serum level of LH (P=0.09) and FSH (P=0.08) in hypo thyroid female. The difference in the serum level of both LH and FSH in Grave’s Disease female was insignificant (p> 0.05). In this study, significantly increased level of prolactin, LH and FSH in hypo thyroid female suggest predisposition of autoimmune thyroid diseases in polycystic ovarian syndrome. There was normal level of Prolactin, LH and FSH in Grave’s disease patients. These results propose the involvement of thyroid hormones in the reproductive physiology of female.

The purpose of this study is to apply the methodology of the I Ching divination to examine whether names of government leaders and parliamentary representatives exist in particular configurations. Using samples from the elections held for municipal mayors and councillors in six Taiwanese municipalities in 2014, this model revealed a consistent and specific configuration of the names of candidates, incumbents, and the elected government leaders and parliamentary representatives. It was found that the majority of them fell into configuration type A1, F1, and D1. Moreover, similar results were found when input data from elections of county magistrates and councillors of the same year were considered, confirming that the names of government leaders and parliamentary representatives respect particular configurations, and that specific configurations of the names of candidates and the incumbents are correlated to the number of elected members. Configurations of names, therefore, may be employed as a tool to predict election results. The findings of this study can be applied to prediction methods used in elections and election management.

The olfactory apparatus of Ramphotyphlops braminus includes the main olfactory system and the vomeronasal system. In this study, the enormous development of the vomeronasal organs (organs of Jacobson) brought them in direct contact with the most anteroventral region of the cranial cavity.
In Ramphotyphlops braminus, the fibres of the nervus terminalis originates in combination with the vomeronasal nerve fibres from the sensory epithelium of the vomeronasal organ of Jacobson. These nerve fibres leave the organ capsule as nerve bundles through numerous foramina found in the septomaxillary bone to enter the cranial cavity. These nerve bundles do not enter the olfactory capsule. The nervus terminalis carries an intracranial terminal ganglion. The vomeronasal nerve leaves the terminal one and enters the main olfactory bulb together with the olfactory nerve. The terminal nerve enters the accessory olfactory bulb “vomeronasal formation”. The olfactory nerve fibres arise from the sensory olfactory epithelium and collect to form four or five separate nerve branches. There is no foramen olfactorium advehens; since each branch has its own foramen in the olfactory capsule. They enter the cranial cavity through separate foramina. The olfactory nerve joins the main olfactory bulb. There is no olfactory peduncle or tract connecting the olfactory bulb with the brain, ie, the olfactory bulb is sessile.

Nano-Concrete concrete is a new generation for special powerful concrete, its rich with many benefits. This study included the usage of Active Nano-clay and Nano-Silica with different percentages 3%, 5%, 7% / 1%, 2%, 3%, respectively as a replacement of cement content in concrete to get the optimum value to use. The methods of mixing (wet/dry) of these Nano-Materials are taken into consideration to deal with site/lab cases. Some properties of fresh and hardened concrete were measured. The absorption in case of thirty minutes up to twenty four hours are recorded to ensure durability. Elevated temperature also, had its share of attention in case of one hour, two hours and two hours with sudden water-cool to measure an indication for the loose of compressive strength during cool process. Ultrasonic wave pulses was used to evaluate the quality of internal contents of concrete (before and after) absorption and elevated temperature tests.

The antiobesity, hypolipidemic effects of myrrh or Commiphora molmol extract (CME) were evaluated in rats. Myrrh the common name for these dried resins, is fragrant and has been used both as fragrance and for medicinal purposes. The antiobesity and hypolipidemic effects were studied on rats fed on high-fat diet (HFD). In this experiment, forty rats were randomized into 5 equal groups. Group (1): negative control fed on basal diet, while the other 4 groups were fed on HFD for 6 weeks for induction of obesity and hyperlipidemia. Group (2) was kept obese (positive control) and groups (3), (4) and (5) received orally CME in daily doses of 125, 250 and 500 mg/kg for 6 weeks, respectively. Initial and final body weights of rats were recorded. Rats were sacrificed and body fats were removed and weighed. Blood samples were collected for estimating total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG) and lipoprotein fractions (high, low and very low density cholesterol). The results showed that CME decreased the fat weight and adiposity index and lowered the high serum levels of TC, TG and LDL in obese hyperlipidemic rats. In conclusion, the results denote that Commiphora molmol extract possess antiobesity and hypolipidemic. These results affirm the traditional use of Myrrh extract for the treatment of obesity and hyperlipidemia.

This paper proposes “An Image Processing Improvement Technology (IPIT) for Spine Vertebrae to improve Quality of Life” which helps users to know the abnormality of the spine. The IPIT consists of three modules: an Image Pre-processing Module (IPM), a Feature Extraction and Indexing Module (FEIM) and a Filtering and Predictive Module (FPM). The IPM filters the input image using a Gaussian Filter. The FEIM extracts the features from the filtered input image using a New Extraction Method (NEM) which combines a Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM) and a Modified Canny Edge Detector (MCED). The FPM receives the extracted features and filters the received features using an Optimized Support Vector Machine (OSVM). The Similar Probability Measurement (SPM) in the FPM is used to find similar image features from the Database. Therefore, the IPIT finds and shows the images similar to an input image. They are stored in the Database as samples. They can be used to diagnose the spine vertebrae abnormality. In addition, the simulation shows that precision and recall are higher.

This paper proposes “An O2O Information Analysis Platform (OIAP) based on Deep Learning for users’ convenience” to provide a personalized O2O service rapidly and exactly. It consists three modules. The first designs a Mobile Crowd Sensing Module (MCSM) which stores an O2O session information automatically, prevents session speed degradation due to overhead, and uses a Cache System to sustain session service speed. The second designs a Back-propagation Module based on Instance Based Learning (BMIBL) to reduce memory overhead and to upgrade speed during training course. The third designs an O2O Information Analysis Module (OIAM) to improve the information accuracy and to minimize the search time for a personalized O2O service. The simulation result of the paper shows that the O2O service request processing time is improved by some 18.19%, the accuracy of personalized information extraction is increased by 10.76% and the error rate is maintained in some 4% due to the speed improvement through clustering.
