This paper describes the optimization of a navigation controller system for a mobile autonomous robot using the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm to adjust the parameters of each fuzzy controller. The navigation system is composed of 2 main controllers, a tracking controller and a reactive controller, plus an integrator block control that combines both fuzzy inference systems (FIS). The integrator block is called Weighted Fuzzy Inference System (WFIS) and assigns weights to the responses in each block of behavior in order to combine them into a single response. A comparison with the results obtained with genetic algorithms is also performed.

A multilocular silique is considered advantageous trait in Brassica oilseeds. In the present study, the major characteristics of a newly discovered multilocular mutant in Brassica napus were investigated. The percentage of multilocular siliques per plant in the mutant ranged from 1.9%-29.1%, siliques with 2-5 carpels coexisted on the same plants. They showed more complicated morphological silique structures than other reported multilocular Brassica. As carpel number increased in the multilocular mutant, siliques became shorter, rounder, and thicker; 1000-seed weight decreased slightly; the seed number per silique increased significantly; and the oil and protein contents of seeds remained unchanged. Compared with bilocular rapeseed lines derived from the same origins, the multilocular type exhibited significantly higher seed productivity per plant without significant influence of major agronomic traits. The new multilocular mutant of B. napus not only exhibits new germplasm but also has potential applications to the high-yield breeding of rapeseed.

This research aimed to identify the extent of use of the software development process models implemented in organizations involved in software development. To address this issue, a questionnaire of 4 questions specifically related to software development process models was designed. The questionnaire was applied to 37 software development companies and at least have a model processes has been implemented.

The study is classified into three dimensions namely, Personal Factors, Job Satisfaction Factors and Financial Factors as the reasons for retirement. The objectives of the study are to analyze the perception of BSNL employees with respect to Voluntary Retirement Services and to understand the influence of Personal Factors, Job Satisfaction Factors and Financial Factors among the BSNL Employees. The study was conducted among 75 BSNL employees in the total sample of 300. Simple random sampling method is used for data collection. Both the primary and the secondary data were collected through a structured questionnaire that was distributed among the BSNL employees for collecting the information. The result of the study is that the employees are facing different psychological aspects that also have an impact in their physical and social circumstances. However, the financial benefits like extra source of income, sufficient savings fund, insurance fund, self employment attitude and sufficient fund for doing business which are the positive parameters that are considered by the BSNL employees opting for Voluntary Retirement Services. Hence, it is concluded that apart from the negative aspects, the positive aspects towards VRS have more significance effect that will change their life style.

The modified simple equation method is employed to find the exact traveling\nwave solutions involving parameters for nonlinear evolution equations. When these parameters are taken to be special values, the solitary wave solutions are derived from the exact\ntraveling wave solutions. It is shown that the modified simple equation method provides an effective and a more powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear evolution equations\nin mathematical physics. Comparison between our results and the well-known results will\nbe presented.

The aim of this paper is to introduce semi-R0, semi-R1 and semi-regular separation axioms in ditopological texture spaces, and is to give some of their characterizations. It is presented some results of\nproduct ditopological spaces on semi-regularity axioms. Finally, the\npreservation of semi-regularity axioms under suitable surjective\nbi-irresolute difunctions is proved.

In this work, exact traveling wave solutions of the system of shallow water wave equations and a diffusive predator-prey system are studied by the (G\'/G)-expansion method. The solutions obtained are general solutions which are in the form of hyperbolic, trigonometric and rational functions and a variety of special solutions like kink shaped, anti kink shaped, bell type soliton solutions etc., can easily be derived from the general results under certain domain. This method is more effective and simple than other methods and a number of solutions can be obtained at the same time. In order to visualize the underlying dynamics of the obtained solutions, three dimensional plots are drawn.

The importance of liver distress of toxic and drug-induced origin arises from the frequency and the difficulties met in differential diagnosis and from the mechanism standpoint of occurrence and clinical evolution. The frequency of drug-induced liver distress is on the rise (17). In addition, the severity of liver drug side reactions increased as importance and approximately 14% of them are fatal (10). More than 200 different drugs are incriminated in liver involvement. It is especially imposed a long-term monitoring of drugs after trading, a more rigorous reporting of drug-induced side effects and an appropriate information of the practitioner (7, 13). \nIn our study it has been found a greater frequency of toxic hepatitis above 50 years, and in respect of the type of toxic on the first place was liver distress determined by mushrooms, followed by tuberculostatics and antidepressant drugs. Clinically, the patients presented gastroduodenal syndrome, hepatobiliary syndrome and signs of renal insufficiency. Patients with unfavourable evolution, at the anatompotahological examination was emphasized a variety of lesions (macrovesicular steatosis, stasis in the centro-lobular vein, massive coagulation necrosis).

Background and Objectives: Previous suicide attempt is the most important predictor of death by suicide. Therefore preventive interventions after attempting to suicide is essential to prevent reattempts. This study to answer the question that “whether phone preventive interventions or other reminders (e.g. postal cards, email, case management, etc.) are effective in reattempts after discharge” by providing an overview of studies related to suicide reattempts.\nMethods: This is a comprehensive review of the studies using the main scientific databases. \nResults: The research investigated in this review has been conducted from 1995 to 2014. A total of 23 cases related to the objective of this research were derived from 33 English articles with the aforementioned keywords. In summation, research shows that providing comprehensive aids, social support and follow-up after discharge can significantly prevent suicide reattempts.\nInterpretation and Conclusions: Most patients surviving one suicide attempt reattempt particularly a short time after discharge. Most suicides occur during the first month after discharge with a sudden increase during the first week. This rate is more than a hundred times in public population. Therefore it is essential to persist and maintain follow-up treatments. Several studies have shown that follow-up support (phone calls, crisis cards, mails, postal cards, etc.) after discharge can significantly decrease the risk of suicide. More random controlled trials (RCT) are required to determine what factors of follow-up are more effective than other methods.

Ectopic hepatocellular carcinoma is a rare tumor，We present a case of ectopic hepatocellular carcinoma in a 42-year-old male, which was confirmed by pathology following surgical resection, The tumor was detected under the left side of diaphragm during operation which was about 2 cm and had no stalk between the tumor and the liver.

A number of crops exhibit allelopathic interactions that play a significant role in the complex environment of agro ecosystems. Several studies have shown that allelopathic crops reduce growth, development and yield of other crops growing simultaneously or subsequently in the fields. Another aspect of interest regarding crop allelopathy is that allelochemicals may exhibit inhibitory effect on the same crop which is commonly called as crop autotoxicity. It is predominantly common in fields where sole cropping under reduced or no-tillage system is practiced. Though any crop part can be allelopathic, including even the pollens, but decomposing crop residues exhibit more influence on other plants. In the present study, the allelopathic effects of Eruca sativa, Mentha peperina,, and Coriandrum sativum water extract prepared by grinding fresh leaves of the medicinal plants in distilled water and three concentrations were taken from the crude extracts (100%, 50% and 25% in addition to 0% as control ) were tested for their effects on seed germination and some growth parameters of the dicot. Lens culinaris and the mononcot Zea mays. The experiment was conducted in sterilizes Petri dishes under the natural laboratory conditions at temperature of 25° C, with a 24 h, 48 h, 72 h, \nwater (Control, 0% ). In lentils, germination percentage, reached 100% when treated with 50% and 25% E. sativa and 25% M. peperina extracts and reduced at 100% crude extracts of all plants.. Radical and plumule length were increased at concentrations of 50% and 25% C. sativum, and 25% M. peperina compared to the control. Plumule fresh and dry weights increased at all M. peperina aqueous extracts compared to control. %). In maize, germination percentage was suppressed when plants was treated with 100% extracts, however, 50% an 25% of M.peprina increased germination percentage by 4 times more than the control. Moreover, 50% and 25% extracts of M. peperina and 50% of C. sativum increased maize radicle and plumule length by 3 to 4 times that of the control . Results of plumule fresh and dry weights revealed that, concentrations of water extracts of 100% and 50% M. peperina , E. sativa 100% and E. sativa 50% reported almost similar plumule fresh weight as in control plants The most interesting finding is the reduction in harmful salts and TDS which could be a good factor in saline soils of Saudi Arabia.

After Lithuania\'s independence restoration, emigration from this country started and is still one of the most important social phenomena in Lithuania. The consequences of emigration of health professionals in Lithuania are perceived rather negatively. Emigration of Lithuanian health professionals is seen as a loss of investments made in the process of preparing healthcare personnel. Medical or healthcare related studies are expensive and they are offered to Lithuanian citizens for free, whereas the skills and knowledge passed to students may be used in other countries, where work opportunities are much better than in Lithuania. The EU framework within which Lithuanian health professionals move at the moment may be also treated as a facilitator of decisions about mobility. However, the economic reason still prevails. Health professionals want to work and get such remuneration for their work that will allow them to live on a quite good level, without daily worries about bills, money for clothes, money to support the family, to invest in professional development. Salary of our physicians is not low, but keeping in mind, that physician’s work is very hard, responsible, requiring permanent training and skills development, the salary should be yet higher. In other countries the medical professions are respected, have higher position in the hierarchy of respected professions. It is partly not the case in Lithuania, since only specific categories of health professions are respected, while others seem to occupy much lower positions in the social hierarchy.

There is a growing interest in studying, designing, implementing boost converters with high performances as they are used in numerous power applications especially in renewable energy system. At the same time a suitable control technique has to be designed for wide input fluctuations and load variations to ensure stability not rather in one particular operating point. Since classical control methods are designed at one nominal operating point, and hence they cannot respond perfectly in the dynamic conditions like variations in supply side and load side disturbance. This main challenge is addressed in this work and a sliding mode controller is designed that provides good voltage regulation, reduced settling time and can be feasible for common step-up conversion purposes. In this paper a PWM based boost converter with sliding mode controller is presented and Simulink model is developed for the enhancement of system stability margin. Its performance is validated for a standard PID controller based boost converter. Simulation is done using MATLAB Simulink.

Brushless DC motors (BLDC) are widely used in industrial areas. To drive the BLDC motor, conventional pulse width modulated (PWM) voltage source inverters and matrix converters are used. In this paper a three phase matrix converter is used to drive the three phase BLDC motor, which eliminates the need of bulky DC link energy storage element. A three phase matrix converter directly converts the available three phase AC power supply to a three phase AC voltage of variable amplitude and frequency. For the generation of switching pulses for matrix converter, a control technique is designed and presented. For the control of speed of the motor a PI controller and Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) are designed and a hysteresis current controller also designed for the control of motor current and torque. The control schemes were designed and tested separately. The test results of all the three schemes in MATLAB SIMULINK are compared and contrasted in this paper. The results reveal that the fuzzy logic control scheme outperforms the PI control scheme in terms of dynamic performance of the BLDC motor. An experimental setup was also developed and the switching pulses are generated using Field Programmable Gate Array processor.

Abstract\nBackground: The aim of this review was to investigate the present status and analyze the problems of Chinese Traditional Medicine (CTM) therapy for advanced breast cancer by bibliometrics analysis and quality evaluation of literature.\nMethods: The randomized controlled clinical trials published in the journals from January 1998 to December 2014 were searched by using “advanced breast cancer”, “metastatic breast cancer ”,“random” and “control” as the search words from “WANFANG data” (1989~2014) and “CNKI.NET” (1979~2014) database. The publication years，researchers’ regions and institutions，protocols and source journals of these literatures were analyzed. The collected literature were analyzed and evaluated according to randomization, allocation concealment, diagnostic criteria, efficacy criteria, baseline comparability, follow-up, compliance and statistical methods. \nResults: There were 38 articles met the inclusion criteria, including 8(21%) articles from 2002 to 2007，30(78%) articles from 2008 to 2014. Literatures output were scattered and not evenly distributed. Research contents focused on the efficacy between different chemotherapies or endocrine therapies combining CTM therapies.8 articles (21%) with clear inclusion and exclusion criteria; 24 articles (63%) with balanced comparison between groups; 13 articles (34%) with proper randomized controlled method; none of the articles described the compliance; 5 articles (13%) with follow-up record; 33 articles (87%) with clear statistical methods but only 11 articles (29%) showed exact test value. All the literature reported adverse reactions.\nConclusion: Advanced breast cancer therapeutic randomized controlled trials in China have the same research direction with international，the literature numbers showed an increasing trend over time. However，there are still some problems such as uneven areas distribution，low research quality，etc. In addition, CTM therapy for advanced breast cancer is lack of multi-center study with efficacy assessment and low quality of research program.

This study also focuses on Age, Parents Occupation and Frequency of online shopping and Online Purchase Intention of the Students. This study also identifies the financial risks and non-delivery risk negatively affected attitude toward online shopping.

A hybrid technique for diagnosing broken rotor bar fault of induction motor using Finite Element Method and Genetic Algorithm is presented. This paper presents a 2-D finite element model of induction motor for use in the accurate dynamic simulation. The aim of the study is to find the impedance of the rotor of three phase squirrel cage induction motor using the finite element method and genetic algorithm. The impedance is calculated by both the methods for healthy and faulty induction motor and the results are compared with test values. Simulation results indicate that this method can effectively enhance the broken rotor bar fault diagnostic accuracy.

This work introduces a novel gas procedure to identify the thermal and electrical faults that occur in a Power Transformer by making investigations based on the dissolved gas analysis data. In this work a new computer program has been introduced to perform all the calculations and decisions required to accurately identify the faults and assess the condition of the Power Transformer. This program can also be used for investigating on other types of insulation fluids such as nonmineral oils. The proposed technique in addition to the novel idea combines two different DGA methods in one diagnosis scheme in order to overcome the limitation of each method stand alone. In this work, the gas ratios and percentage relative proportions of gases are computed to identify the fault in the oil filled electrical equipment in service. Single incipient faults and multiple faults have been identified using nine steps and a comparison of different diagnostic methods has been made using the data available with premier researchers in this field. The program is written by using C and Java along with simple calculations in Microsoft Excel. The program interprets incipient as well as multiple faults in equipments like On Load Tap Changers filled with mineral oil or non mineral oils, equipments with low temperature faults where stray gassing of oils may interfere with diagnostics and in Power Transformer immersed in mineral oil.

The concept of bipolar (or intuitionistic) fuzzy matrices is a generalization of the ordinary fuzzy matrices which having its elements in the interval [0, 1]. Convergence of powers of a fuzzy matrix has been studied in many papers the literature. In this paper, we shall extend the scope of fuzzy matrices to bipolar fuzzy matrices. However, our study in this in this work is a generalization of the previous studies in that field.

One of\nsuch political parties was the Bolshevik party which managed in October, 1917 to\ncapture the government and to start realization of tasks, which were declared in its\nprogram documents.\nThe strategic objectives proclaimed in these documents, were created so that to\nwin round to the people and the national intellectuals of suburbs of the former imperial\nempire though as history showed, the Bolsheviks used aspiration of the people to\nindependence and national progress in the mercenary political goals.
