The present work investigated bleaching of Polyamide fibres with sodium borohydride (SBH) and compared whiteness degrees and polymer degradation between conventional thiourea dioxide and stabilized hydrosulphite bleaching methods. Dyeability of treated polyamide samples were investigated with mono-, di- and tri-sulfonated acid dyes of Acid Blue 25, Acid Black 1, Navy Blue RN and ATR-FTIR analyses, AEG content, and tensile strength tests were carried out. The whiteness results showed that SBH bleaching is an alternative method to conventional reductive bleaching methods since it gives high whiteness and no fibre degradation.

Objective: Interleukin-1beta (IL-1β) has been reported to be involved in depressive symptomatology as well as in the effects of antidepressant treatment. Several studies have investigated the association between IL-1β (-511 >C/T) polymorphism and risk of depression. Conflicting results, however, were obtained.\nMethods: After searching PubMed, ISI Web of Science, and CBM databases, seven studies were identified. Subgroup analyses were performed based on ethnicity and Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium.\nResults: Overall, no significant association between the IL-1β -511C/T polymorphism and depression risk was observed. Subgroup analyses according to ethnicity showed that the IL-1β -511CC genotype was associated with increased risks of depression in Asian population (CC versus CT: OR = 1.37, 95%CI, 1.01-1.88; and dominant model: OR = 1.35, 95%CI, 1.00-1.81) but not in Caucasian population.\nConclusion: This meta-analysis indicates that the IL-1β-511C/T polymorphism may have a role in the etiology of depression in Asian population.

In this paper, we investigate the upper and lower approximation\noperators, fuzzy preorder and Alexander (fuzzy) topologies induced\nby fuzzy automata in complete residuated lattices. Moreover, we\nstudy their functorial relationships and give their examples.

The standard Backpropagation Neural Network (BPNN) Algorithm is widely used in solving many real problems in world. But the backpropagation suffers from different difficulties such as the slow convergence and convergence to local minima. Many modifications have been proposed to improve the performance of the algorithm such as careful selection of initial weights and biases, learning rate, momentum, network topology and activation function. This paper will illustrate a new additional version of the Backpropagation algorithm. In fact, the new modification has been done on the error signal function by using deep neural networks with more than one hidden layers. Experiments have been made to compare and evaluate the convergence behavior of these training algorithms with two training problems: XOR, and the Iris plant classification. The results showed that the proposed algorithm has improved the classical Bp in terms of its efficiency

Background and Objective: Chronic liver disease, particularly the one related to viral hepatitis B and C, is responsible for a significant disease burden and cause of mortality worldwide. Dengue virus also affects liver and can lead to acute liver failure and life threatening hemorrhagic diseases. The present study was designed to investigate the profile of trace metals and enzyme activity in patients with chronic liver disease in the presence or absence of dengue virus infection.\nMaterial and Method: A total of hundred chronic liver disease patients with two equal groups of patients with or without concomitant dengue fever were recruited. Parallel numbers of control patients without either of the disease were also selected. Blood samples were made to clot before serum was separated. Levels of the enzyme activity by alkaline phosphatase, creatinine phosphokinase, lactate dehydrogenase; serum glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase was analyzed by a kit according to manual’s instructions. Serum levels of trace metal including copper, iron, magnesium and zinc were analyzed using atomic absorption spectrophotometry.\nResult: We have shown that the serum magnesium and copper levels remained unchanged, whereas the concentration of zinc and iron were decreased significantly in both groups of chronic liver disease patients as compared to the controls. The CPK ALK, LDH and S-GOT were all significantly increased in liver disease patients. The change in the biological markers remained the same in both patient groups.\nConclusion: This study highlighted the important metabolic changes which in turn may help in diagnosis and designing appropriate therapeutic approaches for patients of chronic liver disease having dengue virus infection.

Objective: Inflammation is always found in the pathogenesis of intracranial aneurysms (IA). MiRNAs are key molecules that involved in many physiological and pathological processes of inflammation. We hypothesized that a polymorphism rs11614913 in has-miR-196a2 may be related to the process of IA. Methods: We performed a case-control study including 164 patients with IA and 403 healthy controls in a Chinese population using polymerase chain reaction- restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method. Results: No association was observed between the polymorphism of rs11614913 in has-miR-196a2 and IA risk (CT vs. CC: OR=0.769, 95% CI = 0.485-1.221, p=0.265; TT vs. CC: OR=1.076, 95% CI = 0.607-1.908, p=0.801), and neither was the allele (T vs. C: OR=1.027, 95% CI = 0.794-1.328, p=0.839). Conclusion: These findings suggest that the polymorphism of rs11614913 in has-miR-196a2 may be not associated with the risk of IA.

It is well kmown that homotopy analysis method is one of the most efficient methods of obtaining analytical or approximate solution of both linear and nonlinear partial differential equation. A more general form of HAM is introduced in this work called optimal q-HAM which qives more chances of convergence compare to the usual HAM due to the presence of fraction factor associated with the solution. An application of this method is given to solve nonlinear fractional gas dynamics equation This optimal approach has general meaning and can be used to get the fast convergent series solution of the different type of nonlinear partial differential equations. The presence of the auxiliary parameter h helps in an effective way to obtain better approximation comparable to exact solutions. The fraction-factor in this method gives it an edge over other existing analytical methods for non-linear differential equations. Comparisons are made upon the existence of exact solutions to these models. The analysis shows that our analytical solutions converge very rapidly to the exact solutions.

The present paper reviews the biological applications of semicarbazones, thiosemicarbazones and their metal complexes. For this purpose we reviewed around one hundred research papers from various reputed International Journals published since 2012. Semicarbazones and thiosemicarbazones have wide applications in analytical chemistry due to their chelating ability towards the metals with electron donating S and N atoms. Apart from analytical applications they also exhibit biological applications such as, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-parasitic and cytotoxic. Due to this applications, semicarbazones and thiosemicarbazones gains much more attention from the researchers worldwide.

The tanh method is used to find travelling wave solutions to various wave equations. In this paper, the extended tanh function method is further improved by the extended generalizing Riccati equation mapping method and constructed twenty seven new exact traveling wave solutions including solitons and periodic solutions.The obtained solutions are described in four different families including the hyperbolic functions, the trigonometric functions and the rational functions.The method is extended together with the (G\' /G) -expansion method and is a powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear partial differential equations.In order to test the validity of this approach, Kaup--Kupershmidt equation and Hirota-Satsuma are considered. As a result, Riccati equation mapping method is equivalent to the usual mapping approach, and say nothing of the conclusion that many new non-travelling wave solutions have been found.

Several discrete time nonlinear growth models with complicated dynamical behavior have been introduced in the literature. In this paper we propuse a modified Samuelson model and we study its dynamical behavior depending on several parameters, which turn out\nto be the same as the logistic family. Moreover in the base situation the dynamical behavior only depends on the initial values of supply and demand.

Our main purpose of this paper is to introduce an $L$-fuzzy\nneighborhood space by an $L$-fuzzy quasi-uniform space and discuss\nsome of its properties. We managed to induce an $L$-fuzzy topology\nby an $L$-fuzzy neighborhood system and introduce its $L$-continuity\nnotion.

Abstract: Objective To investigate the role of Fas on CIK cells induced apoptosis of human hepatic carcinoma cell (HepG2) and the effect of expression of csaspase-3-8, principium disguisition the likely mechanism. Methods The study was undertaken initially to generate and expand CIK (cytokine-induced killer) cells obtained from patients with liver tumor. HepG2 cells were co-cultured with CIK cells for different rate?1:10, 1:20, 1:40? and different time?24h, 48h?, viability of the cells were detected by cck-8. Then ZB4 (0.5mg / L) the selective inhibit of Fas was added before HepG2 cells processed by CIK (1:40, 24h). Then the cells viability detected by cck-8 and the expression of Fas, caspase-3, caspase-8 by real-time PCR and Western blot. Apoptosis of HepG2 cells were evaluated by flow cytometry and the nucleus by DAPI staining. Results Compared with the control group, activity of HepG2 were inhibited after treated with CIK, the action was time/dose-dependent, and the expression of Fas was obviously elevated. Subsequently ZB4 pretreatment significantly attenuated cells apoptosis, and the increased expression of Fas and caspase3, caspase8. Conclusion CIK cells could induce apoptosis of human hepatic carcinoma cell (HepG2 cells), which may be performed by up-regulated of Fas expression.

A Variable Message Sign (VMS) system that is easily controlled through RS-232, Ethernet or Short Message Service (SMS) communications is designed and implemented The complete stage by stage modeling, programming, and design and implementation for each software and firmware module of this VMS sign system are presented. This modeling and design use methods that allow speeding up the programming process as well as providing robustness to the system. This methodology consists basically in separating the program by layers and in designing a specific module that allows carrying out the programming without having to depend exclusively on the implemented hardware. That is why initially the controller is designed on a PC, after which it is implemented physically on a microcontroller and Light Emitting Diode (LED) panels. Two software tools are created, i.e., a simulator of the VMS system and a program that allows an easy control of the LED panels.

Sterile seedling cotyledons of broccoli varieties \"Yuguan\" were used as explants, the experiment studied influence factors of callus induction and establishment of regeneration system. The results showed that broccoli seedling cotyledons of two weeks achieved the highest callus induction rate which was 93.10% when cultivated at MS medium containing 2.0 mg·L-1 6-BA and 1.0 mg·L-1 2,4-D. The callus had the highest regeneration rate and reached 84.43% at MS medium containing 2.5 mg·L-1 6-BA and 0.05 mg·L-1 NAA, and average regeneration buds on each callus were 3.41. The regenerated plantlets had the highest multiple times and achieved 10.5 at MS medium which contained 2.0 mg·L-1 6-BA and 0.05 mg·L-1 NAA , the pattern of proliferation was multiple shoots proliferation. The regenerated plantlets reached the highest rooting rate which was 89.75% at MS medium containing 0.1 mg·L-1IBA, roots starting time was stable at about 5 d with the increase of subculture times. With the increase of transplanting domestication time of regeneration plantlets, photosynthetic characteristics of net photosynthetic rate and carboxylation efficiency presented an increase trend, the transpiration rate and stomatal conductance decreased gradually, but both of them rebounded slightly after the first 15 days, all of these indicated that the photosynthetic capability of plantlets enhanced gradually.

Many factors that interferes infective Helicobacter pylori, they have been known; one of the important factors is the production of CagA gene. With a view to measuring it is about 40 Kb and it is seen into the some Helicobacter pylori equalities. It has distinguished the relationship of this gene with gastric ulcer. CagA protein is an Immunogenie antigen that has different equalities measures between 128-140 kDa. Made researches have shown that most of Helicobacter pylori cases which became gastric ulcer are CagA Positive. It also has been shown 3/ CagA gene has a variety. The variation of this area is cause of geographically differences in parts of the world. \nThe purpose of this study was consideration to Helicobacter pylori CagA gene in patient with gastric ulcer. For this aim 200 types of biopsy infected and positive urease test plus 20 samples of healthy people biopsies as a control were provided. After DNA purification, the presence of H.pylori was confirmed by glm and SSA primers. \n142 typical were positive for CagA. CagV primer used to variety fixed- the end of 3/ CagA gene and exposed a special genetic variety at the end of 3/ gene in the 800bp, 825bp, 850bp, 900bp areas. \nThe above studies have showed direct relation of CagA gene with gastric ulcer.

The design and implementation of a graphic simulator of a bipedal robot with 14 Degrees Of Freedom is presented, using the SimMechanics toolbox of MatLab/Simulink. A virtual model is also developed to see the robot\'s performance in a three-dimensional animation using the MatLab Virtual Reality Toolbox. For this purpose, concepts associated with the dynamic equilibrium of human walk are considered, using characteristic values of the parameters of this kind of walk, and including the joints\' associated phases and movements. The robot\'s direct kinematics is developed, and the way of getting the dynamics equations of a robot using the Lagrange-Euler formulation is presented. Finally, contact models between the robot and the displacement surface are reviewed, implementing one of them in the graphic simulator.

The design and implementation of a control platform for a SCARA type real robot with six Degrees Of Freedom (DOF) using the LabVIEW computer program is presented. The graphic programming that characterizes LabVIEW is used, applying knowledge in serial communication, PID controllers, morphology, kinematics, dynamics, and robotized manipulator control. A control platform is developed based on variable parameter PID controllers with their corresponding graphic interface, on which different applications can be carried out, such as tests of planning and generation of various kinds of trajectories

This study has assessed medical students’ level of satisfaction with and utilization of study guides and whether they were helpful to the learning process. Subjects and Methods: This cross-sectional study used a self-administered questionnaire that was validated by faculty members and students and was piloted before distribution. It was distributed to all basic (second- and third-year) medical students at the Faculty of Medicine, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, SA, during the 2012–2013 academic year. Results: About 78% of the participating students indicated that they preferred to have a study guide for each course. They were satisfied with the structure of the study guides apart from the absence of teachers’ personal comments. They were not satisfied with the use of the study guides as logbooks and their inclusion of self-assessment exercises. They were also not satisfied with the study guides as notebooks and felt that they did not contain adequate educational resources. Conclusion: Although the participating students were not fully satisfied with the study guides, they reported that some courses study guide were useful for their learning while others were not. More efforts are needed to improve the study guides so that they are helpful logbooks and notebooks that include self-assessment exercises and updated educational resources.

In this paper, we studied the hybrid system in which mixed the fuzzy inference into Petri net (PN). We exploited the fuzzy theories to map the algorithm of crisp inputs and outputs. Furthermore, we produced a nonlinear function to predict the next state from transition. In order to precisely predict the reasonable next state, we use the more or less hedge mathematic ([μA(x)]0.5) and use the Centre of area method (COA) as defuzzification to infer the state transition in practical exercise. Finally, we exercised an example of washed-machine to prove that the proposed hybrid system is available.

The current globalization of the economy is forcing enterprises to design and manage their supply chains efficiently on a worldwide basis. The rapid expansion of information technologies leads enterprises to a borderless business environment. Sourcing strategy design in supply chain management is vital to gain competitive advantages. Under competitive environment the ability to make fast and accurate decisions constitute an important advantage. Successful supply chain management applications necessitate an effective sourcing strategy to deal with uncertainties both in sourcing decision making and order allocation among selected suppliers. This study presents a new integrated approach with two different (but not independent) parts. The first part includes the evaluation of sourcing strategy and the second part includes the order allocation model based on the evaluation results of the sourcing strategy. The proposed model offers an innovative approach by integrating the decision making process over sourcing strategy decisions and order allocation.

ABSTRACT: Because RFID is using wireless Radio Frequency (RF) way to read the information on the Tag, someone who takes the Reader will be able to read data. So most of the people cannot know whether there is a presence of Reader from the environment, and the personal information is therefore a leak. The security of the RFID is an important issue. The RFID potential crisis must be valued as the problem, because the exist-ence of a crisis that might be an attack. However, when RFID is attacked, there must be preventive measures and methods. This study focus on the Information Security and Privacy protection and put forth a EPC speci-fications to use the model of XOR logic operation with the method of CRC examining the computing, and simulating the shopping mall system which provides an Information Security and Privacy protection system. We got the data after simulations to show that XOR computing to 8 bytes actual test, the required time is 17.29 Ticks in average, the spend time is rather short. Follow-up our simulations to the test data of DES en-cryption methods, an average time of 8,039.41 Ticks is required, the two time required considerable differ-ences. It was informed that this study through practical shows that we could provide a match hardware en-cryption methods of the specific solutions to achieve their personal privacy protection, confidentiality, confir-mation, and the fulfillment of the Information Security and Privacy protection.

The aim of the research conducted with the Experiments Department of Pfeifer & Langen Polska was to create an advisory system for commodity services and sugar beet growers to support their decisions about the use of chemical control against the cutworm. Consequently, two forecasting models for determining the chemical control time were compared: one based on the signaling method and the other based on the determined sums of heat and sums of effective temperatures necessary for caterpillars to achieve the desired L2 stage. As a result of the completed observations, the date of first flights and the total number of the pest in plantations were established. Usefulness of the conducted monitoring of cutworm catches was also compared with the systematic control of plantations from the moment when the mass flight of cutworm moths was identified. The control was used to observe the beginning of oviposition, hatching of the first caterpillars and the caterpillars growing to the size of 10-12 mm and to determine the forecast date of the chemical treatment against cutworms. The date of the pest control treatment was based on the moths flight control and on the sum of heat and the sum of effective temperatures, which have a highly significant impact on the length of the cutworm development until the desired L2 stage. In the years of the study (from 2009 to 2013), the time for insecticidal treatments against cutworms was determined by the signalling method for the period between the 29th and the 41st day from the onset of the mass flight of the cutworm moths. The time of treatments was determined using the phenological method by obtaining the sum of heat in the range from 278.9°C to 700.4°C and the sum of effective temperatures in the range from 83.8°C to 260.5°C.

In field trials in two locations in Poland, selected oilseed rape cultivars (open-pollinated variety, four composite hybrids, one restored hybrid and the CMS ogura line) were tested during two vegetation seasons in the years 2002-2004. The vegetation seasons differed especially in terms of water supply. Seed yield, yield components and some quality traits were recorded. The tested cultivars showed substantial differences in terms of yield and other investigated traits. Analysis of variance indicated that the main effects of cultivar and locations were significant for all the traits of the study. Very high heritability estimates were obtained for seed yield (0.90-0.98), yield components (length of silique, number of seeds per silique and weight of 1000 seeds), and also for oil and glucosinolate contents. The results confirm the higher productivity of hybrid cultivars, as well as their better adaptability to variable environmental conditions, especially drought.

Security solution for cloud centric PC’s was consistent in providing the on-demand services. Cloud infrastructure is flexible and scalable in all aspects; hence an enhanced level of security mechanism is desirable for secured file transfer. Here the security mechanism relies on two aspects with dynamic security enhancement by providing secured tunnel using SSL, since the virtualized pattern does not have a security model to envision the Sec Cloud Life Cycle model (Sec CLC). The problem addressed here was a detailed scope towards the secured (CLC) model and it needs a lot of research. The file hosted or distributed in remote host is always subjected to on-demand IaaS model and security parameter in those host have to be analysed and queries bounding to retrieve the data from model has to be focussed clearly. Hence we proposed a new model along with the SSLbased encryption technique to transfer data from the remote host. Here the prefix of the data &key; is exchanged based on encrypted sequence along with the enc and dec scheme. The architecture is divided into two areas namely enc and dec. In enc the data and key is addressed and transferred, the prefix is added to the HADOOP pre-processor and the data to be enc is processed along with the prefix. Here the scheme is used to process the secure file transfer along with the remote host. Since the scheme is fully tunnelled using SSL and remote attacks is never been possible. The proposed model has been executed in LINUX environment and tested in HADOOP clusters in cloud stack. The experimental results demonstrated here shows the actual claim of the proposed model with 85% of accuracy in file transferring.

This paper proposes a liver pathology image classification method based on voting optimization. Firstly, we propose a method of describing liver pathology feature by Gabor Wavelets, Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM), Higher-Order Local Autocorrelation (HLAC) and multi-fractal. Then we present image pre-processing methods and feature calculation methods according to these features. After that, we get a liver pathology image classification model based on Random Forests (RF) method. Finally, we make a voting optimization based on statistical analysis method and optimize the liver pathology image classification model. Experiments show that combining the above features can describe liver pathology feature accurately and the optimized liver pathology image classification model has a good classification performance and robustness.

The digital signature is the main issue in construction the secure authentication protocol. For example, He et al. introduced two authentication protocols in 2012. Both protocols rely on the identity-typed signature scheme and they claimed that their protocols are secure and efficient. But, at the same year, He et al. indicated that both schemes are weak against the key compromised problem. Therefore, they presented a new revision in order to solve this difficulty without losing a security and efficiency of the protocols. In this paper we demonstrate that the suggested new revision still weak against the key compromised problem.

To address the importance of the safety regulations, the paper focuses on the switching power supplies to hope of making designers understand the issued safety rules during development processes. The test data in this paper include option rage of RC circuit, product insulation requirements, and component temperature considerations. They are mainly to have the designers design products with both functionality and safety to put the importance of safety regulations beyond other aspects during the designing. It may greatly shorten the product development time.

In this paper, we introduce a bivariate generalization of the Bernstein-Schurer-Kantorovich\noperators based on q-integers and get a Bohmann-Korovkin type approximation theorem of these operators.\nWe also estimate the rate of convergence of the proposed operators, in the terms of rst modulus of\nsmoothness.

Although Iranians have been trying to achieve political development since the last century, its\nelements and components have not been hegemonic yet in Iran’s civil society. In other words,\nthere is not a proportional relationship between the signifier of political development and its\nsignified. Various factors have been considered for the failure and dislocation of political\ndevelopment in Iran, including the power of the opponents, traditional and conservative\ninstitutions, and foreign enemies. While eulogizing these elements, this article claims that the\nreasons beyond the deflection of political development discourse from the course of legitimation,\ncreditability, and effectiveness has been mostly due to intra-discourse problems and impairment\nand the mistakes made by its executors and transmitters. Constitutional revolution and reforms of\nMohammad Khatami are two cases studied in this article.

The study aimed at examining the attitudes of the public extension staff towards the adoption of needs-based extension (NBE) approach, barriers to the adoption and training needs and methods of training for the staff. Likert-type scales were used as tools for data collection, with alpha Cronbach\'s coefficients ranging from 0.75 to 0.90. Face and content validity were confirmed by a panel of experts from the National Center for Agricultural Research and Extension. Parametric and nonparametric statistics methods were used to analyze the data. The results showed that public extension staff was qualified, medium aged and most were experienced in agriculture and in undertaking surveys. Female agents represented 22% against 5% of women farm holders. Highly identified training needs indicated agents\' awareness of the significance of NBE and skills in ICT and agribusiness management in an increasingly competitive environment. Study tours to countries with workable extension systems and professional or academic training were perceived to be important methods of training. Less experienced male agents with BSc in non-horticulture degree had more positive attitudes to NBE, and were more likely to highly rate the need for training. Unsupportive financial and cultural environment to extension activities, lack of skills to analyze the data and present results were cited as barriers to the adoption of the NBE. Many of the required skills can be greatly improved with well-targeted in-service training to enable the public extension to initiate and adopt needs based extension programming. The results are applicable to many situations (e.g. health, education services…) locally and elsewhere.

The article includes a description of design solutions of a mobile headset device for the measurement of involuntary, oscillatory movements of the pupils. PST (Pupillographic Sleepiness Test) which can be used to assess human psychophysiological state influenced by the level of drowsiness or alertness, through the so called fatigue wave. Since the overall size of the pupil is predominantly controlled by sympathetic inhibition of the parasympathetic Edinger-Westphal nuclei, spontaneous changes in the pupil size are mainly regarded as an effect of decreasing central sympathetic activity. In the state of reduced alertness, those changes in pupil size, if recorded in darkness, show slow rhythmic oscillations called fatigue waves. PST should be carried out in complete darkness (infrared goggles) and silence for duration of 11 minutes. \nThe author used the results of the studies proceeding the process of developing a sensory solution. The results played a significant role in shaping the structural assumptions of the sensor so that it could serve as an indicator of the level of human fatigue. The article includes results of the experimental research of the sensor’s testing process conducted using various frequency parameters of light, luminance and chrominance excitations. The obtained results show that the type of light stimulation of the retina has significant impact on the oscillation parameters of pupils.

Introduction and objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the level of phytosterols intake in vegetarian’s group and food preferences in the context of changes in the frequency consumption of selected food products. \nMaterial and methods: Seventy participants were recruited in the study - including thirty five vegetarians. The dietary intake was evaluated by 7-day food records. Plant sterols content was obtained from the database of Polish foods. The assessment of food preferences and food frequency of intake was based on a validated questionnaire. \nResults: The mean total energy of daily food rations in the study and control groups did not differ significantly however there were differences in the percentage intake from carbohydrates (p<0.001), fat (p<0.001), SFA (p=0.0001), MUFA (p=0.0001) and dietary fiber (p=0.0001). A statistically significant differences were noticed in the total plant sterols level consumption (p<0.01), campesterol (p<0.001), and other fractions of plant sterols (p<0.05) where campesterol and sitosterol were the main consumption fractions. \nConclusions: A vegetarian diet is characterized by a greater supply of phytosterols in the diet compared to the usual diet
