| Abstract |
Read more…In the heart of Saudi Arabia, a nation grappling with multifaceted climate change challenges, a transformative architectural paradigm has emerged. The region contends with rising temperatures, prolonged heatwaves, water scarcity, and the looming specter of sea-level rise. In response, Saudi Arabia is undergoing an architectural revolution—a fusion of adaptive designs with a profound respect for cultural heritage. This research explores the profound implications of integrating adaptive and culturally nuanced architectural designs into Saudi Arabia\'s unique socio-ecological fabric. A comprehensive methodology, combining a meticulous literature review, in-depth case studies, insightful expert interviews, and data analysis, provides a multifaceted exploration into the realms of energy efficiency, water usage, disaster resilience, cultural preservation, and community acceptance. The findings underscore the marked improvement in energy efficiency achieved through innovative cooling techniques, passive solar design, and energy-efficient materials. This contributes substantially to long-term sustainability. Additionally, sustainable architectural features, such as water-efficient fixtures and innovative landscaping approaches, have led to a significant reduction in water usage, preserving scarce water resources. These designs effectively preserve the rich cultural heritage of Saudi Arabia, ensuring the continuity of cultural identity. The amalgamation of cultural elements and adaptive features in architectural designs stands as a testament to long-term sustainability, reducing resource consumption, energy usage, and environmental impact. Furthermore, adaptive designs have notably elevated disaster resilience, fortifying structures against extreme heat, sandstorms, and heavy rainfall. The confluence of traditional and adaptive architectural elements has resulted in robust structures that can withstand environmental challenges, minimizing infrastructure damage, and safeguarding cultural assets. Lastly, the incorporation of cultural elements in architectural designs has garnered high levels of community acceptance and appreciation, fostering a sense of connection and belonging. |

| Title | The role of early maladaptive schema in representing anxiety disorders |
| Paper ID | 4kFgD/NA |
| Keywords | anxiety disorders, early maladaptive schema |
| Abstract |
Read more…Anxiety disorders are the most frequent psychiatric disorder that results in major illnesses, overusing the health care services and extreme functional disorders. According to the cognitive approach, the psychiatric harm, made by formation and fixation of early maladaptive schemas and habitual thinking patterns are very general and pervasive that determines the type of vulnerability to them. Therefore the present study aims at investigating the role of early maladaptive schemas in clarification of anxiety disorders. The present study is post-hoc (casual-comparative) which was carried out on a sample of 105 people (71women and 34 men) with various anxiety disorders who were chosen in random sampling method in six groups of panic disorder with or without agoraphobia, specific phobia, social phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and acute stress disorder and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). After the structured clinical interview for DSM-IV-TR (SCID-I), subjects were assessed using Young early maladaptive schemas questionnaire (short form). One way analysis of variance was used to analyze data. Emotional deprivation schemas, abandonment-instability, subjugation, self-sacrifice, emotional suppression and unrelenting standards schemas in panic disorder with or without agoraphobia group; mistrust-abuse, self-sacrifice, emotional suppression, unrelenting standards and entitlement schemas in social phobia disorder; unrelenting standards schema in specific phobia disorder, self-sacrifice, unrelenting standards and entitlement schemas in obsessive-compulsive disorder; emotional deprivation schemas, abandonment-instability, self-sacrifice, unrelenting standards and entitlement schemas in post-traumatic stress and acute stress disorder; and vulnerability to harm or illness, self-sacrifice and unrelenting standards schemas in generalized anxiety disorder were considered active. Findings revealed a significant difference in early maladaptive schemas in (various) anxiety disorder groups. In addition, mistrust-abuse schema can expose someone to social phobia disorder, vulnerability to harm or illness can expose to general anxiety disorder and the subjugation schema expose to panic disorder with or without agoraphobia. |

| Paper ID | Yhefv |
| Keywords | gas turbine; air cooling; fogging cooler; steam injection; energy; thermodynamic irreversibility |
| Abstract |
Read more…In order to achieve high efficiency and high specific work with lower emissions, the use of advanced gas turbine cycle in power systems is unavoidable. There are so many methods for this purpose. In this research, inlet air cooling has been analyzed thermodynamically. The utilize of inlet fogging for entrance of air in the compressor of gas turbine has these advantages such as easy installation, law primitive cost and maintaining cost also it causes to increase output power and improving the heat efficiency, special in during the peak loud, in power plant. In this study, the gas turbine cycle with steam injection and inlet fogging cooler has investigated because of second low of thermodynamic irreversibility in different parts of cycle has evaluated, and paying attention irreversibility in combustion chamber and wasting from outlet exhaust gas will be help full the obtained results are compared with normal injected gas. Also, our research data has analyzed in by EES software which is a computer program for modeling of gas turbine cycles. The obtained result in indicates that the output power in steam injected gas turbine cycle with inlet fogging cooler (FSTIG) is more outstanding them the simple steam injected gas turbine cycle (STIG). |

| Title | A study on the visual role of toys in children life |
| Paper ID | vGH7J/NA |
| Keywords | Image , Packaging , Toy , Play , Children |
| Abstract |
Read more…This research is aimed at studying features and visual qualities of images in toys and toys packaging. This research is trying to find answers for toys and toys packaging processes from design to production, what should be considered by an illustrator and also collecting information for interested people and students in arrival to the labor market and recognizing the existing challenges. This research method was fundamental and theoretical and the most important research question was that, what is the first impression of images on the toys and packaging surfaces containing toys? And what are the most important features of images on the toys and toys packaging surfaces? The most important obtained results were that although the quick attraction of the purchaser is the most effective factor in images, it cannot be the first effect on toys and toys packaging surfaces. Features such as color, attractive design and revealing the inside containing of the packaging are the most important features of images in this packaging. Now we can say that images as visual part of the toys and toys packaging have the most important role in introducing the capabilities, function and the attractiveness of a production. Images especially for children who have a closer relationship with fiction world is more attractive than other visual elements and also despite of the visual attraction such as color coordination, adaptation of plan with packaging and etc. |
